NMDHA holds continuing education courses three times a year: Annual Scientific Session offers 12–14 CEUs,
Mid-Year Session CEU and Mid-Summer Session CEU.
High Desert Dental Hygienists' Society, the central component of NMDHA, holds 4 CEU meetings per year, usually 1 CEU each. In addition, this component holds a 6 CEU course in March called Albuquerque Day.
